How Do I Uninstall Emoji Phone App

    Mistakenly downloaded Emoji Phone app now I can't uninstall. Tried your suggestions including clearing cache. Nothing has worked & uninstall button isn't accessible to push...it is there but not useable.

    Make sure the app isn't set as a device administrator. (Use Search in Settings.) If it is, turn that off, then you can uninstall it.

    I mistakenly downloaded the same app and on my Galaxy S8. I was able to uninstall it but it has taken over my phone all together. I get pop up ads all the time (even when I am not using my phone). I also have this thing that comes on the top of my phone saying to press here to "always use emoji phone." Worse app ever. How do I get rid of everything that this app has done to my phone?

    I've stupidly done the exact same thing but on my Galaxy S7 Unfortunately there isn't as of now been a reply to your question, or have you solved the issue Kathy?

    Welcome to the forums. Try this. First go to the accessibility settings and uncheck the app under device administrators. Then go to settings - apps - select Emoji phone - force stop - clear defaults - storage - clear data - uninstall. Tell us how it goes.

    I have the same problem on my s8 plus. The emoji app is not an administrator and the keyboard is my samsung keyboard. There is no provision whatsoever to be able to delete this app from my phone. Any suggestions?

    ok, I just uninstalled "in launcher" and that seems to have fixed the problem ... yayyy
